We cannot be sure how much longer Heart will keep going. They don't produce the same kind of music they did in the 1970s and early 1980s, but that does not mean that if you have a chance to see them live, you should skip it. Ann and Nancy Wilson still know how to put on a great rock and roll show.

Good for music fans in North America, the band will have a bunch of new tour dates beginning in February. The dates will mostly be in Canada and the northern and western parts of the United States, but they will dip a bit into the south. The new dates - Heart has done a bunch of gigs in Europe on their current Royal Flush Tour - will start with two Las Vegas shows before winding their way up the West Coast.

The great thing is that if you buy tickets to a Heart show near you, you will also get tickets to the great opening act. The band will have three different acts at different shows, but no matter which one you see, you will be a winner. Heck, you might even choose to see one of the opening acts by themselves, but getting them with Heart too? Wonderful.

Heart's North American tour will feature some can't-miss opening acts

Between March 3 and March 14, music lovers will see Squeeze open for Heart. From March 20 through April 5, Cheap Trick will be the main act's opener. Lucinda Williams will open for Heart on at least two other dates.

Squeeze and Cheap Trick also supported Heart on some of the European dates, so even if the bands did not know each other well before then, and they likely did, the musicians probably got to be friends then. And if you need a Christmas shopping idea, Heart tickets would be a good one.
