Kelis' milkshake may be bringing Bill Murray to the yard

People do like to talk, don’t they? Also a wonder is just how Bill Murray has stayed in the collective psyche for almost 50 years now. In fact, Murray has been famous for longer than “Milkshake” singer Kelis has been alive. But there have been plenty of May-November romances that worked out just fine.

The thing with the rumored relationship between Kelis and Murray is that there was very little to imply they were a couple. Yet, people like to talk. The 72-year-old Murray was seen watching Kelis perform on June 3rd at London’s Mighty Hoopla music festival. This must mean the two are dating, correct?

Kelis has been mum about the rumors as she has a right to be. Whether there is or there isn’t something going on is no one’s business, of course. Both Murray and Kelis have been successful in their own art forms and no matter their ages, the two dating isn’t completely out of the realm of possibility.

Kelis may have denied any rumors of she and Bill Murray dating

Recently on Instagram, Kelis responded to a fan speaking about the rumored relationship by saying, “…yeah maybe for now everyones dumb and will believe anything but the best part is we are both blessed, rich and happy. So who’s really laughing.”

That doesn’t really scream, “No, I am not dating Bill Murray!” but it also might imply people shouldn’t believe everything they read. Later in the post when a fan asked if Kelis wanted to respond to the rumors, Kelis said, “lol no babe, I wouldn’t bother at all.” So, who knows? Maybe Murray and Kelis are dating.

If so, would that be so bad? Nowadays, does age really matter? It’s not like one is 20 and the other is 80. There is enough life experience for both people to likely make for a lot of common ground. And maybe, if they are dating and happy, we should just let people be happy.
