Taylor Swift keeps setting records and getting awards. I honestly do not know how she keeps track of where she is supposed to be to pick up her ever-occurring accolades. Her most recent haul took place at the Billboard Music Awards this past Sunday.

Taylor Swift won 10 awards in total. She is now tied with Drake for most awards all-time at the event. Drake actually won five awards on Sunday. And Swift did not even win the most awards Sunday. That would be Morgan Wallen who won 11.

After winning her 10 awards, Swift, via an acceptance speech filmed while she was busy on the South American leg of her Eras tour, did the classic T-Swift bit and gave all thanks to Swifties. As she should - and as she knows - because the Billboard Music Awards are based on sales and streams of albums and songs. If there were no fans, the awards literally could not be held.

Taylor Swift cleans up and Coldplay hits the road

Swift told her fans, "None of this happens without you. The Billboards base everything on what you are listening to and what you’re passionate about, and I’m so honored that this year you made The Eras Tour so magical. You went and saw the movie, you cared about my re-recordings. I just love you so much."

One aspect of Taylor Swift that separates her from many other artists is that she actually does seem genuine when she is heaping praise on her Swifties. She honestly appears to care about her fanbase. Every musical artist should.

In other music news, Coldplay announced their tour dates for our friends in New Zealand and Australia in 2024. The tour is called 'Music Of The Spheres.' The dates are really late in the year and there are not many of them, so if you are a Coldplay fan you have just a few to choose from.

The dates will take place from October 30 through November 13. On October 30 and 31, Chris Martin and friends will play Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia. A week later, Coldplay will play the Accor Stadium in Sydney on November 7 and 8. Finally, on November 13 the band will play Eden Park in Auckland, New Zealand.
