All you need to know about New Found Glory's 'Catalyst' anniversary tour
By Keith Hafner
On May 18, 2004, the band New Found Glory released their fourth album, Catalyst. This record will turn 20 years old in just under two months. It's hard to rank each album they've put out, but this one goes toward the top.
With songs like "All Downhill From Here", "Truth of My Youth", "I Don't Wanna Know", and many more. Front-to-back energy and catchy hooks. In honor and celebration of this album, New Found Glory has announced a tour, new merch, and a release.
The tour's first leg kicks off on August 16 in Orlando, runs through a ton of cities, and ends the first leg on September 1 in Nashville. The second leg begins on October 11 in Dallas ending in Denver on October 23. Both legs are supported by the band Sincere Engineer.
All you need to know about New Found Glory's new tour
If you have never seen New Found Glory live, you need to change that. I have seen them countless times, and every show is fantastic. I've even seen the same tour multiple times in different cities.
If you're lucky enough, you don't just listen to music but get lost or fall in love with it. To have songs, albums, and bands change your life and mean the world to you is powerful. If you understand this on any level, you know when I say New Found Glory is that for me.
My favorite band since I was 13 years old, and that still hasn't changed all of these years later. Nothing Gold Can Stay, Self Titled, Sticks and Stones, Catalyst, Coming Home, Not Without a Fight, Radiosurgery, Resurrection, Makes Me Sick, Forever and Ever Times Infinity, December's Here, and Make the Most of It are all the original albums they've put out. Although they've grown a lot and have had different vibes for each album, they have yet to produce the same album repeatedly, but they are still producing high-quality music.
