Whoever runs Snoop Dogg's public relations wing deserves a huge raise. How the iconic rapper can seemingly literally be involved in everything that exists is beyond comprehension. That will carry over into the Olympics in Paris over the next couple of weeks as well.

Not only will Snoop be part of NBC's coverage of the games in the United States, but he will also be one of the final people to carry the Olympic torch in Paris on the torch's way to light the Olympic cauldron on the night of the opening ceremony. And no, we did not just make that up.

Snoop Dogg will carry the torch through some of the streets of Saint-Denis, a Paris suburb that is also where Stade de France Olympic Stadium is located. We know Snoop will carry the flame because - again, we are not making this up - Saint-Denis' mayor, Mathieu Hanotin, tweeted the news ahead of the games beginning. In other words, if you are watching the Olympics on opening night and see Snoop Dogg carrying the Olympic torch, do not adjust your sets.

Snoop Dogg to be one of the final torch bearers for the 2024 Paris Olympics

Let us put ourselves in Snoop Dogg's shoes, though, and imagine what it must be like to be him. He grew up not rich in Long Beach, California, and got into some trouble with the law. At any point did it cross his young mind, "One day I am going to be carrying the Olympic torch near Paris"? Likely not. That is pretty amazing.

He likely did not think he would amass a net worth of a reported $160 million either, but he has. Even that amount seems to undervalue how much money he has since he is involved in everything. There is also no value that can be put on the inspiration he has become for a lot of children growing up as he did.

On the night of the Paris Olympics opening ceremony, just sit with family and/or friends and say aloud, "Hold up. We can't move for a while because I want to see Snoop Dogg carrying the Olympic torch in the streets of Saint-Denis." It will be a true sentence that you might never have thought you would ever say.
