NFL fans, you now know who you will be watching during the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show. After rumors that Taylor Swift was asked but said no to performing, Usher has accepted the challenge of being watched by more than a hundred million people and performing at Super Bowl LVIII. And honestly, he is probably one of the better acts the NFL could have gotten.

Usher is nothing else if he isn't a showman. He knows how to put on a show and he has decades of hits to choose from. He has had nine No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 over the course of a career that started in 1994. He has reportedly sold over 80 million albums.

The 2024 Super Bowl (which really goes with the 2023 NFL season but the season ends in early 2024, just to make it a little confusing) will be played on February 11 at Allegiant Stadium just outside Las Vegas in Paradise, Nevada. The stadium is home to the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders.

Usher announced to be headliner of the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show

The halftime show will be produced by Jay-Z and Roc Nation. This will be the fifth year that the group has produced the halftime show, and they've done a pretty good job of making it entertaining for the viewer in the stadium and watching from home (or the bars) on TV. A combination of Jay-Z and Roc Nation along with Usher would seem to be highly interesting.

To make it really wordy, the Super Bowl halftime show actually has its own name. The show is called the 2024 Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show. I cannot wait until the NFL adds a few more sponsors as well so the halftime show title can consist of maybe 200 words or so.

The Super Bowl will be shown on CBS in the United States. Check your local listings if you live elsewhere. And this will be Usher's second appearance at the Super Bowl halftime show, but his first as the lead artist. In 2011, he made a cameo at the halftime show that was led by the Black Eyed Peas.
