The Who have seemingly finished their last show, but like with all things involving Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend's band, what seems like the end might not be. That would be OK. The group was rock legends for a reason.
Daltrey, though, is about to embark on what could be his final shows as a solo artist, at least concerts in the United States. The new run will begin in late August and go through the end of September. Tickets for the gigs start as a pre-sale on Wednesday, May 13, at 10 am local time. General public sales start at 10 am local time on Friday, May 15.
To purchase tickets, one needs to visit Ticketmaster. It will be your place to go for the pre-sale and the general sale.
Roger Daltrey announces 2026 tour dates in the United States
In speaking with Rolling Stone, the Who vocalist appeared to announce that the concerts will be the final ones for the 82-year-old singer. He said, "After finishing the Who's final tour of the U.S., it's time for me as a solo artist to possibly do the same. After touring solo with different bands of musicians for the last 17 years, a less grueling life becomes more attractive – I'll see."
The Who do have a live album dropping, though, don't expect a rager. Live at Eden Project will be released on May 29 and features Daltrey and Townshend backed by the Heart of England Philharmonic Orchestra.
