The Golden Globes are a fairly fluffy event, but the foreign press knows it. After all, the ceremony will always pale in comparison to the Oscars. Everything will. Even the Super Bowl, at times. People love their movies, and they love to see the pretty faces involved.
As for music fans, the Golden Globes don't offer quite as much as the Oscars. The musical performances are kept to a minimum, at least as far as their expansive presentations. Still, there will be a musical presence involved.
That is because several musicians will be among those presenting trophies, so at least we get to hear them talk a bit. The 2026 Golden Globes list of presenters includes Miley Cyrus, Charli xcx, Joe Keery (just wait), Snoop Dogg, and Queen Latifah.
2026 Golden Globes feature a number of musical greats
Of all the presenters, Keery might be the most sneaky-good. He is also indie rock artist, Djo, and he makes very good music. Is he the indie equivalent of Donald Glover's Childish Gambino? Likely. The good thing is that both the actors and the musical acts they become are terrific.
