Taylor Swift and Tom Cruise have been friends for a while, as proven by the fact that the actor attended the singer's wedding in July. The same day that Cruise was celebrating his 64th birthday. That is real friendship, just as the two decided to take in Week 1 of the Kansas City Chiefs season on Monday together.
Swift is, of course, now married to Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and she has been attending many KC games. She often has friends watch games with her in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium, but having Cruise there was the first time that fans have seen that pairing.
What isn't clear is whether Cruise is a fan of the Chiefs, but he might simply be a fan of Swift and Kelce. He saw the singer perform during her Eras Tour in London, and he even exchanged friendship bracelets with other Swifties. He might be the last true movie star, but he is regular folk, too, it seems.

Of course, the actor being seen out and about only helps remind people that he has a new movie dropping soon, though one that is a bit different than his normal roles. Digger will be released on October 2, and sees Cruise play Digger Rockwell, an oil tycoon who starts an environmental disaster that he is then tasked with fixing. The trailer doesn't make the film seem like a heavy drama, though.
The Chiefs might not mind if Cruise and Swift take in more home games together, as they might be a good-luck charm. Kansas City destroyed the Denver Broncos 31-10 on Sunday Night Football as running back Kenneth Walker ran for 173 yards.
As for Swift's husband, Travis Kelce led his team with 71 receiving yards and a long of 59 yards. That likely made Swift and Cruise quite happy, though the broadcast rightfully did not immediately pan to the suite where the two megastars were. That would have been slightly odd.
Swift does not have an album scheduled for an upcoming release, though rumors have abounded that she is working on new music. One might wonder if the new record will be called the Wedding Album and be full of happy songs about love and Kelce. Like everything else Swift does, the record would probably be a huge seller and high quality.
One might also wonder what Cruise and Swift discussed, though. Maybe she will be in the next Mission: Impossible whenever that comes out? Anything is possible,
