Will Taylor Swift be at the Chiefs' Week 7 to boo Geno Smith and the Raiders?

Why wouldn't she?

The Kansas City Chiefs and Taylor Swift are both entities that are on a roll. The football team stumbled at the beginning of the season but appears to have righted itself. The Chiefs lost their first two games of the year, but have won three of four. Next, they play the Las Vegas Raiders.

Meanwhile. Swift has released an album that easily became a worldwide best-seller, and the songs from the record dominated the singles charts. This is what happens when a performer happens to be iconic in all parts of the globe, and rightfully so. The pop queen consistently delivers greatness.

But she is likely not a fan of quarterback Geno Smith and the Raiders. Vegas is an AFC West rival of the Chiefs, and if Swift wants to watch her beau, tight end Travis Kelce, catch passes in the playoffs, then she will hope that KC can defeat the Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 7.

Taylor Swift might be iffy to be at the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders game in Week 7

The question for Swifites is whether their favorite singer will be at the game. Taylor Swift had made an effort to be at fewer Chiefs games so far this season. She's been busy selling her wares with a new album release, while not touring behind said release. Instead, she's been hitting the talk-show circuit.

The good part is that when Kansas City hosts Las Vegas, it will be a Sunday afternoon game. No talk-show events involved. It also isn't so late a game that Swift won't have to travel first thing the next morning. Will she be at the game? Maybe, but she hasn't confirmed. And she won't for security reasons.

The good part for Taylor Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs is that the team should move to 4-3 with a victory in Week 7. Geno Smith leads the NFL in interceptions, and the KC defense is really good. Vegas head coach Pete Carroll deserves better than Smith forcing so many turnovers.

One thing is certain: Swift won't be performing at halftime. Neither in Week 7 nor at the Super Bowl in February. She wasn't ready to do that. After all, maybe there is a chance Travis Kelce and Kansas City are playing in the game.

Kickoff for the Chiefs and Raiders game is 12 pm CT on Sunday, October 19, at Arrowhead Stadium. The game will be shown on CBS, in case Swifties want to tune in.
