There are certain moments in music when an artist’s impact becomes impossible to ignore, and that’s exactly why I wanted to write about Taylor Swift’s latest achievement. Whether you’re a pop lover, a rap fan, a hip hop supporter, or someone who just loves watching artists climb higher, there’s something exciting about seeing a musician dominate the charts year after year.

This year’s Spotify Wrapped results felt especially fun to dive into, because they show just how strong Swift’s connection to UK listeners still is. Her music continues to reach new fans while keeping long-time listeners loyal, something not every artist, whether in pop, rap, or hip hop, can pull off.

And honestly, part of the joy in reading these stats is realizing how diverse the music scene has become. The rankings bring together artists from every corner of the industry, showing a wide range of styles all living on the same playlists. Now, let’s take a closer look at how Swift held her crown again.

Taylor Swift leads the UK’s most-streamed artists

Pop superstar Taylor Swift has officially been named the UK’s most-streamed artist on Spotify for the third year in a row, proving she remains one of the biggest names in global music culture. The 35-year-old landed at the top of Spotify’s annual Wrapped list, followed by Drake, Sabrina Carpenter, The Weeknd, and Billie Eilish.

Even with rap icons and hip-hop heavyweights climbing the charts each year, Swift still held her No. 1 position, an impressive achievement that highlights her staying power.

Her busy year likely helped keep her in the spotlight. She released her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, celebrated her engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce, and shared that she had regained control of her back catalogue after wrapping up her record-breaking Eras Tour.

Interestingly, despite being the most-streamed artist, Swift didn’t land in the UK’s top five songs or albums of the year. The most-played track was Alex Warren’s “Ordinary,” while the top album was Sabrina Carpenter’s Short ‘N’ Sweet.

Globally, Swift also missed the top artist spot, with Bad Bunny taking No. 1 for the fourth non-consecutive year, pulling in nearly 20 billion streams. His album Debi Tirar Mas Fotos became the world’s most-streamed LP.

In the UK, the biggest tracks also included “That’s So True” by Gracie Abrams, “Messy” by Lola Young, Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club,” and Eilish’s “Birds Of A Feather.”

The top albums list continued showcasing variety, with titles like You’ll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1) by Alex Warren, KPop Demon Hunters by the KPop Demon Hunters Cast, Chappell Roan’s The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess, and Tate McRae’s So Close To What rounding out the top five.
