Taylor Swift fans and Buffalo Bills Mafia have one fantastic thing in common

Thank goodness for it.

Taylor Swift is not suddenly going to turn into a Buffalo Bills fan. Her loyalty lies firmly with the Kansas City Chiefs because her fiancé, Travis Kelce, plays for KC. He isn't going to be traded to Buffalo, so a Chiefs fan Swift will remain.

This likely means a lot of Swifties, who didn't much care for football before their favorite performer really cared, have turned into Chiefs fans, too. It isn't like KC was hurting for followers before, but adding a few hundred thousand Swifties is just good for business.

But what's best for humanity? That is something Bills fans, known as Bills Mafia, are. And while we are at it, Swifties are pretty good for the rest of us as well. Instead of just spending money on their favorite singer or team, the two fan groups spend money on those who need it.

Taylor Swift fans and Buffalo Bills fans are good people

Bills Mafia, for instance, often gathers money together to donate to different foundations, and these aren't only ones connected to the team or players on the team. Buffalo appears to understand that football is a great game, but there are more important things beyond it.

After Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was injured in a game against Buffalo, Bills fans donated $18,000 to his foundation. Bills Mafia also donated $415,000 to Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton's foundation for seriously ill children in 2017.

These are only two of the many good deeds that Bills fans have done. The list is almost limitless and ongoing. If one begins to lack faith in humanity, Buffalo Bills fans will help restore it. So will Swifties.

Taylor Swift recently wore a Monterey Bay Aquarium otter t-shirt in her theatrical film release to help promote her latest record, The Life of a Showgirl. Swifties wanted the shirt, too, and if that was coupled with helping a program that helped sea otters, even better.

Swifties began buying the shirt, the aquarium reissued the design, and Swifties donated more than $2 million via their purchases. This went beyond simply wanting what Taylor Swift had. If Swift was about saving sea otters, and she is outspokenly in favor of the cause, then Swifties are too.

Of course, Taylor Swift has donated loads of money to various causes. Her lead has meant that when Swifties follow, good things happen. The same can be said of Buffalo Bills fans. The world is better off because of the two fanbases.
