Taylor Swift was in attendance as the Kansas City Chiefs played the Denver Broncos in Week 10 of the NFL season. That is the important part as far as things go here at our music site. With Swift, anything is important. Plus, if Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce can do something great while Swift watches, then that is even better.
Against the Denver Broncos, Kelce caught a short pass from Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes for a touchdown and cut the Broncos leads to 14-10 (after the extra point, of course). In doing so, Kelce tied the Chiefs receiving record for touchdowns in franchise history. He was tied with another tight end, Tony Gonzalez.
Gonzalez was great enough to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2019. Kelce will get there one day, too. So will Swift. Only not in the Pro Football Hall of Fame but in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The Rock Hall waits 25 years from a musical artist's original release to give them a chance at induction in Cleveland, Ohio. Swift's original release was in 2006, and that was a self-titled country album. Chances are, the Rock Hall will let that slide as they will want to take advantage of any Swift-mania that might still be occurring. One can safely assume Swifties will still be abundant.
This likely means that Kelce and Swift will be inducted into Hall of Fames in their respective careers. Kelce is a shoo-in no matter what else he does. The fact that he is only now tied with Gonzalez for the all-time Chiefs touchdown reception lead in short-term. Kelce will pass Gonzalez soon.
Kelce is still fifth all-time among all tight ends for touchdown passes, and he will probably never catch No. 1 Antonio Gates, who has 116, but still...There is little argument that Kelce (and Swift) are among the best at what they do in their respective professions. Plus, watching Swift cheer on Kelce is priceless,
