Tight End University (TEU) started in 2021 when NFL greats Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers, and the now-retired Greg Olsen decided to hold a camp to help other tight ends learn the position better.
The multi-day event wasn't just about on-field activities, though. The players could be friends and family along and concerts would be performed for entertainment after workouts were done for the day. 2025, though, likely just became the best year of the event as Taylor Swift performed a surprise concert for the attendees.
Swift, of course, has been dating Travis Kelce since 2023, and she has been seen at many Chiefs games. Kelce has attended Swift's concerts, too, even appearing on stage at one in a top hat and tuxedo. The people at TEU likely could not be happier about the relationship.
Taylor Swift puts on a surprise show at Tight End University
The show was held at the Brooklyn Bowl, a concert venue in Nashville, Tennessee, where the TEU was set. Clearly, tickets were not sold to the general public because that would have created a wave of chaos surrounding the gig, one that was only meant for tight ends and their friends and family.
To sell tickets, even though part of TEU is a fundraiser, would have gone against the spirit of the event. Swift almost certainly wasn't paid to play, as she was there to support Kelce.
Even Swifties were caught off guard after reports of the concert were posted on social media. The concert took place quite late, likely intentionally as not to draw too much attention, so many Swifties woke up to the news of what their favorite performer had done.

No worries, though. There are some clips on social media of the gig, like this one of Swift performing "Shake It Off." Are the videos high quality? Not really. Do Swifties likely care? No.
NFL fans are likely to get a big dose of Taylor Swift in the 2025 season. She won't have any scheduled concerts to perform, and she seemingly won't be working on recording a new album. Instead, she can go to as many Chiefs games as possible. Maybe, if we are lucky, she will do a surprise halftime show at one of them.
