Turnstile, your favorite hardcore band that wins Grammys, too, is from Baltimore, Maryland. This must be known before the rest can be understood. You see, the band doesn't only make great music that is worthy of being heard quite a bit more, but they love baseball as well.

They especially love Orioles baseball. The band threw out the first pitch at a game in 2023, though, to be fair, it was guitarist Pat McCrory who did the honors while other band members watched. It isn't like the first pitch of a game can be thrown by four or five different people. That would be weird.

If you are going to see a major league baseball game in Baltimore on July 10, though, you will get to see a bit more than the group throwing out the first pitch. Instead, as per tradition, when an Orioles player gets an extra-base hit, the band will help spray fans in certain sections with a hose.

Turnstile to have their own night at a Baltimore Orioles game

For fans buying a special ticket package, which can be found at the Orioles official site, they will get a jersey with the team name on the front, and then on the back, above the number 26, will be the band's name. The night is considered a "Blackout" night in honor of the group.

If you miss Turnstile at the Baltimore baseball game in July, you can certainly catch them at several festivals in the spring and summer.

On May 8, the band will perform at the Welcome to Rockville festival in Daytona Beach, Florida (and, let's be fair, the festival name implies it happens in Maryland), the Kliby Black Party in Salt Lake City on May 15, Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee, on June 12, and then the Fuji Rock festival on July 24 in Japan. That is just the start of a whole slew of other festival appearances.

If you want to check out Turnstile's work in the studio, they have released four albums since 2015's Nonstop Feeling. Their 2025 work, Never Enough, won the Grammy for Best Rock Album.
