Acid Bath, your favorite Louisiana sludge metal gods that could have been so much more, are back to touring, and thank goodness for it. Maybe no new album is being released soon (that we know of), but catching the band live is an important thing.
Thankfully, you now have more chances to catch what the New Orleans-founded band is up to. After taking time away for nearly 30 years (and for good reason; unfortunately, the band split in 1997 after bassist Audie Pitre was killed in a traffic accident in 1997), the group returned in 2024 and then in full in 2025.
Maybe no new music is coming, but Acid Bath still produces can't-miss shows of metal that mix goth, grunge, and sludge. Need to simply go somewhere, pay for an inexpensive ticket, and see musicians perform loud and heavy rock while you mellow out? Acid Bath has you covered.
Acid Bath drop three more can't-miss 2026 tour dates
After initially announcing a run of shows in support of System of a Down and Queens of the Stone Age, Acid Bath will be turning in other shows, too. Those include doing gigs with Ministry and Windhand on September 15 and October 3.
Plus, the band will be doing a New York City turn on August 21 at Rooftop at Pier 17, along with Obituary and Thou. Tickets for the NYC gig kickoff with a presale on Thursday, June 18, at 10 am local time. The password is ROOFTOP, and can be found at Acid Bath's official website.
