Danzig won't be touring a lot, mind you, in 2026, at least not that the band has yet told fans, but some dates have just been released. The last show the group played was on New Year's Eve. Now, we get some proper dates.
Support for the concerts will be provided by Twin Temple, Burning Witches, and ANA. The latter is an orchestral metal band and is worth hearing.
Twin Temple has been called a doo-wop Satanic group, but they are more Dresden Dolls than doo-wop. Either way, they will be terrific in concert and have toured with bands such as Ghost. (I saw the two in concert in Cincinnati in 2022 and can attest to the greatness.)
Danzig drops a few September 2026 tour dates (and this is when you can go)
Tickets for the show will begin as a pre-sale, and that gets underway on Friday, June 19, at 10 am local time. General public tickets will be made available on Monday, June 22, at 10 am local time. One can purchase both options by visiting Ticketmaster.
The Glenn Danzig-led group has released 12 studio albums, with the first coming in 1988 and being self-titled. The latest bon mot was in 2020 and called Danzig Sings Elvis (if you know, you know). The highest-charting album on the Billboard 200 came in 1994 and was called Danzig 4. Does the band or its fans care about selling loads of albums? Not really.
What ultimately matters, just as it did with Glenn Danzig's first band, the Misfits, is putting on a great concert. The live experience was always the best way to experience both of Danzig's groups, and at that, the performance is cannot miss events.
If you can't make any of the shows, Danzig (the band) does have a live album from 2001, Live on the Black Hand Side, that's pretty good. If you can find it, get the record.
