Taylor Swift doesn't stay away from Kansas City Chiefs games, and the question recently hasn't been whether she will show up to support the team and her husband, tight end Travis Kelce, but who she will have as a guest. That has included people like Tom Cruise.
The issue for Swifties is that their favorite singer doesn't normally go to games away from Arrowhead Stadium in KC. In Week 7, the Chiefs will play the Seahawks, but the game is in Seattle. While there has been no confirmation either way, the chance that Swift appears at Lumen Field is unlikely.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't tune into the game, though. Swift might show up, and the game itself should be worth watching. Kansas City is unbeaten at 5-0, and Seattle is the defending Super Bowl champion.
Taylor Swift is unlikely to be at the Seattle Seahawks and Kansas City Chiefs game in Week 7
Still, for our purposes here, Taylor Swift is probably not going to be a reason one should watch.
Her going to Kansas City games makes more sense. The assumption is that she and Kelce live during the football season close to where the Chiefs play, and Swift understands how the Arrowhead Stadium security works, and the security understands how much attention that Swift can draw.
That includes her famous guests. Besides Cruise, Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Hugh Jackman, and, most recently, WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark have watched Chiefs games with the music icon. Part of the fun this season in Kansas City hasn't been whether Swift will appear, but who she will have with her.
One does wonder what all those famous people talk about. Maybe she and Cruise are making a movie, or Swift has a part in 2028's Days of Thunder 2. Perhaps the singer-songwriter will be in the next Deadpool & Wolverine?
It does seem at some point that Taylor Swift would make a move into acting. That is a logical pathway for many musical artists. They don't have to stop making music, of course, but can augment their livelihood by playing some starring roles in films and shows. The surprising part is that Swift hasn't done more of that.
What would be even more surprising is if she were at the Seattle Seahawks and Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday Night Football on Sunday, October 25. More likely, she will be elsewhere, perhaps sitting at home watching the game on television like most of the rest of us.
