During an appearance on Cosmopolitan's "Cheap Shots," Zara Larsson was asked to name one artist that would never appear on her playlists.

Essentially a "Truth or Drink" segment, Larsson could have definitely taken a shot instead of spilling any names. Instead, she decided to speak her truth, which has earned her major praise from fans.

She tells Cosmopolitan that she actually has a lot of people blocked on Spotify, and all of them are abusers. She then says that people would certainly not find a Chris Brown song on any of her playlists and that she has him blocked on the platform.

Her actions earned her massive praise online. Many loved how openly she spoke up against Chris Brown and other abusive artists, calling her "mother" and "queen" for it. Others claimed this made them love her even more.

This is not the first time Zara Larsson has spoken out against Chris Brown. Back in 2016, she played "Song Tinder" with DASDING, and one of the songs that appeared was "Hotel (feat. Chris Brown)" by Kid Ink. The moment Chris Brown's name was said, she immediately swiped left.

When asked why, her answer was simple: she didn't like him. While she acknowledged that he was a talented musician, she stressed that she could not listen to his music due to their differing values. Larsson also mentioned that she doesn't condone how openly he hates and trash-talks women.

That same year, the two engaged in some online activity after Chris Brown heard that she didn't willingly listen to his music. In a video, Larsson is seen telling her fans that just because he was a bigger artist than her (at the time), that doesn't give him an excuse to be a hateful person, and urged fans to call his behavior out. In response, he called her "wack" and a "stinky butt."
