The American Music Awards are the world's largest fan-voted ceremony. If you don't like a certain winner, just look around. It was likely your friends, co-workers, and family who voted for them, even if you did not. Don't hate; respect.

But after a two-year hiatus, the AMAs are back and appear to be blossoming with brilliance. Do we care who wins? Maybe not. After all, we talk about how many Grammys a musical artist has, but rarely about how many AMAs. The joy is in the show's viewing, which will occur on Monday, May 26, at 8 pm ET.

You can watch the presenters and performers at the 2025 American Music Awards by streaming the event on Paramount+ with Showtime, DirecTV, or fuboTV. You might have to pay for a subscription for any of those services, but fuboTV usually has a week-long trial.

Who will present and perform at the 2025 American Music Awards?

This year, Jennifer Lopez will host the ceremony and perform. While the show is a good chance for an artist to collect a trophy, it is an even better way for them to sell their music to an audience of...millions? (We assume the viewers will reach that number.) Lopez being on the screen a lot is going to probably have some viewers clicking on "buy" for her songs or albums.

Lopez's fellow performers include, in part, Janet Jackson, who is accepting the Icon Award, and Rod Stewart, who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. (Why it took so long for the AMAs to give Sir Rod this trophy is unknown.)

In addition to the three legends above, other performers include Benson Boone, Blake Shelton, Gloria Estefan, Gwen Stefani, Lainey Wilson, and ReneƩ Rapp. There is no word on whether Shelton and Stefani will perform together, but why shouldn't they?

The presenters' list includes Alix Earle, Cara Delevingne, Ciara, Dan + Shay, Dylan Efron, Jordan Chiles, Kai Cenat, Megan Moroney, Nikki Glaser, Shaboozey, Tiffany Haddish, and Wayne Brady.

Kendrick Lamar leads all potential winners with 10 nominations, while Post Malone has eight, and Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Shaboozey each have seven.

Taylor Swift is not expected to perform or present, but she could bring us some breaking news about the potential release of Reputation (Taylor's Version). She has placed an Easter egg on her merch site that spells AMAs, so fingers crossed something big happens.
