If you happen to be either Astronomer CEO Andy Byron or Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot, the two people caught cheating on a Coldplay kiss cam at Gillette Stadium near Boston recently, and you happen to be reading this, let's just say shame on you. (Also, why are you reading this if you are in the couple? That's weird.)
The act of the cheating couple is going to hurt plenty of people. The positive part, and slightly odd, is that them people caught snuggling during a Coldplay concert, helped unite the world for a minute or two. That might say a lot more about culture than we care to admit.
The other positive thing to gather from the issue is that people have been producing a bunch of funny memes. Below are just a handful.
Social media goes on blast with Coldplay kiss cam memes
Also this sucks for his wife. This is a terrible way to find out her husband likes Coldplay.

The first part of this is apparently true. The Facebook account was deleted, and likely for a good reason. Social media can be toxic. Even though the wife likely did nothing wrong, she would probably receive some unfair hate. The Coldplay part is just funny.
The entire office when the CEO and HR chief walks in to work after that Coldplay concert. pic.twitter.com/vPcVQN4UHV

This meme is clearly meant to be funny, and it is, but it is also probably the closest thing to reality. If the power couple of Astronomer walks into the office together (or even by themselves), everyone is going to be watching.
Never trusting someone that says βIβll be home late, team bonding at a Coldplay concertβ

Truth. That's it, just truth.

Of course, there is no way the cameraperson would have known what they were about to help unleash, but any meme with a smirking Shaq is humorous. Why? Who knows?
To the spouses who found out they were being cheated on via the Coldplay jumbotron: sorry to hear that. Come see Spinal Tap. We promise no jumbotrons, just ear damage and emotional closure. pic.twitter.com/QQzSuFGVUL
β Spinal Tap (@SpinalTap) July 17, 2025
Spinal Tap in the house! Of course, this all might be some weird media promotion in anticipation of Spinal Tap II, which is set to premiere on September 12, 2025.
Coldplay hasnβt made a single in years.

Last night, they made two. pic.twitter.com/tlhPBWRX0Y
This is a bit of a low bar, and the same sentiment is found often among Coldplay kiss cam couple memes. This one might be the most succinct and, therefore, funny.
A thoughtful decision by Coldplay. pic.twitter.com/hvBwn9xdfX
β Mike Beauvais (@MikeBeauvais) July 17, 2025
The above tweet by "Coldplay" isn't real, but one might wish it were. Of course, who knows how many people to their concerts that are chea...No, we won't say it.
