Jack White completes a dream project (and it's not what you think)

A bit unexpected.

Here is a question for the congregation: When the White Stripes are inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame later this year, do you see that as the duo going in or mostly just Jack White? After all, the guitarist was pretty much everything in the band that was as close to a solo project as possible.

While you are thinking about the answer, let's move on to something else Jack White has done recently. This part you might not expect unless you are a huge fan of the icon and know his likes and dislikes. (That might be a little creepy, to be fair, but White has been open and honest about this subject.)

This past weekend, White posted on his Instagram that a dream had been completed. He went to a Philadelphia Phillies and Detroit Tigers game in Philly, thus making it the final major league baseball stadium that the guitarist had not seen a baseball game in.

Jack White checks an important journey off his bucket list

Besides marking that off his bucket list, White also watched as his beloved Tigers defeated the Phillies. This was good if you are a fan of the Motor City Kitties because, if you are keeping score at home, you might have noticed the last month or so has not been the Tigers' best.

Still, they lead the American League Central by a wide margin and can go through a summer swoon with little concern. One might wonder if Jack White will appear at some playoff games for the team. The safe answer would probably be yes.

On the IG post, Jack White also asked a proper question. One team, the Tampa Bay Rays, is currently playing in a temporary home after winds from Hurricane Milton damaged Tropicana Field last October. White asked if he needed to go to that stadium to truly have a complete list of visiting every park.

Most responses that somewhat tried to answer the question were unclear. People wanted White to come to Tampa, but they seemed to have missed that he had already been to a game at Tropicana Field.

Jack White hits the road himself for three dates in September, so he won't be going to games on those dates. He likely will keep his schedule clear in October when the Detroit Tigers are playing playoff games.
