John Fogerty isn't ready to rest. The former Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman has taken back control of his earlier songs and is also hitting the road for a bunch of dates in 2026. The most recently announced gigs will be in September and last for a month.
In 2025, Fogerty pulled a Taylor Swift and re-recorded 20 CCR songs and released a new anthology titled Legacy: The Creedence Clearwater Revival Years. Before that, the performer had been able to regain the publishing rights to the tunes.
To make matters even better for music lovers, the run of September shows will also include Steve Winwood. It's two greats for the price of one, of course, even if their sound isn't the same. The intention behind both is the same: To make great songs and create them organically.

General public tickets for the shows, which begin in the Chicago area and then jump to New York before the tour winds itself south, go on sale on Friday, March 13, at 10 am local time. A Live Nation pre-sale began on Wednesday, March 11. More information can be found on Fogerty's official website.
