Breaking down every Billie Eilish Grammy Award nomination and win before the 2024 ceremony
By StevieMac
The excitement is building as we get closer to the 2024 Grammy Awards being announced on Sunday, February 4. We know Billie Eilish will be there - for several big reasons. Firstly, she is again nominated for several award categories. Secondly, she will be performing as part of the awards ceremony. Eilish joins Dua Lipa and Olivia Rodrigo on the list of performers for the star-studded event being hosted by comedian Trevor Noah.
As the Grammy's ceremony, like many others, has a certain degree of formality about it, we should perhaps be using Eilish's stunning full name - Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell. But then perhaps we'll leave that to the organisers. Or consider the odds of Noah squeezing in a pirate-based joke for one of Eilish's mentions or appearances at the ceremony. I'm sure she won't mind too much, especially if she can turn some of her 2024 nominations into awards to add to her collection.
Billie Eilish has an incredible record of Grammy awards. At only 22 years old, if she continues at her current pace, she'll need a bigger space to store her awards. In addition to her Grammy wins, Eilish has received numerous other awards and prizes. For the Grammys, so far, she has had 25 nominations and has won seven Grammy Awards ahead of the results from the 2024 ceremony. Here's how those break down and what categories they were for over the years.

Wow, what an incredible achievement! And there's more to note. At the 62nd Grammy Awards in 2020, Elish became only the third artist, after Christopher Cross and Adele, to win all four General Field categories (Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist) in a single year.
Eilish's first two studio albums have played a significant role in her success so far. It is also impressive to see her being given the opportunity to write and perform a James Bond film song at such an early stage of her career. She'll be hoping for further film-related success with her 2024 nominations centered around her song "What Was I Made For" from the Barbie movie soundtrack. We'll have to wait a bit longer to see what happens with her latest nominations, but regardless of the outcome, she still remains a talented artist with a bright future.
