Zach Bryan upsets Taylor Swift fans and then goes nuclear

Zach Bryan has some differing views from Taylor Swift, but he seemed to wimp out after a recent social media post.

Zach Bryan has a right to whatever opinion he has. As long as no one gets hurt, everybody is OK. If he does have a strong opinion, however, he needs to own it and not disappear.

Part of Bryan's opinions consist of being a fan of Kanye West. West may or may not be dealing with some recent mental health concerns as he has espoused some strange views. One should assume that Bryan shares those views. We might never know, however, because Bryan might say something and then delete it.

This was the case with a post on X/Twitter this week where Bryan said the Philadelphia Eagles are greater than the Kansas City Chiefs and Kanye West is greater than Taylor Swift. He then asked, "who's with me". Apparently, he did not get the responses he wanted - or maybe the Swifties unloaded on him and he chickened out - because shortly after the post, Bryan deactivated his entire X handle.

The Eagles versus Chiefs part of the post was clearly a swipe at Swift as well. Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce, plays for the Chiefs as most of the world knows. Bryan can have the opinion that Philly is better than KC but there is no factual evidence to support that. Kansas City has won three Super Bowls in the past five years and the Eagles have only one one in the team's history.

Maybe Bryan does not care about the Kansas City Chiefs at all and just wanted to make a dig at Swift. But why? Why risk the wrath of Swifties everywhere? Maybe Bryan was not completely aware of what his post might bring.

Bryan - again, he is a country singer - absolutely loves Kanye West, however. On his Instagram account, four of the first posts feature songs by Ye (also known as Kanye West). Maybe Bryan needs to do the reverse Jelly Roll and go into the world of hip-hop.

Plus, Swifties know about the spat that West and Swift have had stemming from a supposed phone conversation where West claims to have recorded Swift saying it was OK for him to use one of her songs. Swift seems right there and West seems wrong. You can judge for yourself on what you think about Zach Bryan's views.
