Record Store Day 2026 takes place on Saturday, April 18. Every year, the event seems to get bigger, and one might wonder how the smaller record stores can actually hold all the new arrivals. Some you might need to order.
What is clear is that there are a lot of titles to pick from this year. If you love live albums, get ready. You might want to spend your entire paycheck in the middle of April. Will those purchases be worth it? Likely.
Some specific releases will be massive. Bruce Springsteen's live release from an Asbury Park show in 2025 is a five-LP set. That means you'll buy it and spend the rest of the weekend jamming out. Good for you.
