Taylor Swift is nominated for six 2025 Grammy Awards, but she will not be performing at the ceremony. Not unless she surprises everyone and does a duet with one of the scheduled performers. That would make for awesome television, of course, but it is probably more of a dream.
Swift is often seen at her boyfriend's football games, of course. Swift has been dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce for more than a year. Kelce has supported Swift at her concerts and appeared on stage a couple of times and off-stage even more. He would probably like to be by Swift's side at the Grammys too. But he can't.
The issue is that Kelce's team keeps winning playoff games every year and finds themselves in the Super Bowl perennially. This season marks the third straight that Kelce's Chiefs will be playing in the championship game. They won in the previous two years and are going for a record. No team in NFL history has won three straight Super Bowls.

The Chiefs have also been to five of the last six Super Bowls. Swift and Kelce have not been dating that long, though, so that is beyond our scope here.
Because the Chiefs are playing for another championship, Kelce will be too busy preparing for the game (which occurs next Sunday, February 9) to attend the Grammy Awards. Of course, few people know for sure what Kelce's schedule is, but it seems doubtful the Chiefs would let Kelce leave in the days leading up to the big game to attend a ceremony that is not meant for him to win awards.
There is a good aspect, though. Kelce is 35 years old and likely closer to retirement than at the beginning of his career. Assuming he and Swift stay together (and let's hope they do), he will probably be able to attend a large number of awards ceremonies with the pop queen. Kelce won't still be playing football, but Taylor Swift will still be making music and getting nominated for awards.
