Travis Kelce was successful before he met Taylor Swift. Swift was extremely successful professionally before she met Kelce. And both have done excessively good deeds besides the touchdowns they have scored or the albums that they have made.

In other words, Swift and Kelce are good people. In fact, Kelce was the Kansas City Chiefs nominee for the NFL's Walter Payton Man of the Year award. The nomination was announced on Thursday. The award goes to a player who has excelled on and off the field. So, no matter how great Kelce is for the Chiefs, he needs to be just as great, if not better away from football.

Kelce has a foundation called 87 & Running, which provides support and resources to underserved youth. The money from contributions goes to fund scholarships, plus creating opportunities for children to be more involved in sports. 87 is also Kelce's uniform number for Kansas City.

Taylor Swift undoubtedly proud of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce after latest award nomination

This is the second time that Kelce has been the Chiefs' nominee for the prestigious award. He also earned the nod in 2020. He has pursued philanthropic opportunities for many years and has been heavily involved in fundraisers in the Kansas City area.

Each NFL has a nominee for the award, and the winner will be announced at the NFL Honors on Thursday, February 6, a few days before Super Bowl LIX. If the trend follows as normal for Kelce, he might not be at the award ceremony because the Chiefs will be too busy getting ready for the championship game which takes place on February 9 in New Orleans.

Speaking of the Super Bowl, the halftime show will be Kendrick Lamar, so we know that will be excellent. The question is whether Taylor Swift will be at the game. She should be, as her Eras Tour will long be over, and she seemingly has no obligations on the date. Plus, why would she pass up a chance to watch Kelce try to win his fourth Super Bowl ring with Kansas City?
