The Kansas City Chiefs are not having the kind of season they normally have. The team isn't terrible, but hovering around breakeven isn't good, either. The truth is that there hasn't been a lot for Taylor Swift, pop queen and fiancée of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, to cheer for.
She also hasn't been to as many games this season as in the previous two. The reason is simple: She had a new album released in early October, and she has been busy going through the motions of promoting the record. Like Kelce, she has a job, too, of course.
Still, Taylor Swift has managed to cheer on the Chiefs at every home game for KC in 2025. It is the difficulty and concerns with security that have kept the singer from traveling to road games. The Chiefs might not mind having a bit of extra security at Arrowhead Stadium, but other teams might.
Will Taylor Swift be in attendance for the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game?
The issue for Swifties hoping to catch a few glimpses of their favorite musical artist on Thanksgiving Day is that the Chiefs are playing the Cowboys in Dallas. Based on Swift's trend this season, she won't be at the game. Instead, she will be having Thanksgiving dinner elsewhere.
Or maybe she chooses to go to Dallas and be with Kelce, but even then, the tight end will be focused on the game and not whether his fiancée will pass him the pumpkin pie. That might happen after the game when Kelce is back in KC.
So, will Taylor Swift watch the Kansas City Chiefs in person on Thanksgiving Day? She isn't saying for sure either way, though the likelihood she will isn't great.
If she does go to the game, she will not only get to see Travis Kelce play, but she will also get to see Post Malone provide the halftime entertainment. Kickoff for the game is scheduled for 4:30 pm ET (3:30 pm if you are going to the game in Dallas).
If Taylor Swift is staying home and watching the game, she might also watch the Green Bay Packers play the Lions in Detroit, which is the first game of the day. Perhaps Swift wants to tune into that game to watch the halftime show, which will feature Detroit native (and recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee) Jack White.
