Will Taylor Swift be at the Kansas City Chiefs game versus the Las Vegas Raiders?
By Lee Vowell
The Kansas City Chiefs are 10-1 this season and have a chance to clinch a playoff spot with a victory in Week 13 against the Las Vegas Raiders. They will need a little help, but we can get into that in just a minute. For our purposes here, the key question is whether Taylor Swift will be at the game.
First, the Chiefs' playoff scenarios. If Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City wins, they only need the Miami Dolphins to tie their game, or the Denver Broncos to lose, or the Los Angeles Chargers to lose and the Broncos to tie in their own game, or a Chiefs tie and a Dolphins loss. Got that? Good.
The game will be played on Friday, November 29, the day after Thanksgiving. This means Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, can have their Thanksgiving meal however and wherever they want (let's be real; if Kelce and Swift want to eat at a restaurant in the KC area on the holiday the restaurant is likely to stay open for them). On Friday, Kelce can head to the game early and maybe Swift can follow.

There will be no known obstacles to Swift making the game. She does have a few more dates on her Eras Tour left, but they are not until December 6 through 8 in Vancouver, Canada. That leaves plenty of time for Swift to share a meal with Kelce and then make the Chiefs and Raiders game with lots of time left over for a few days afterward.
Of course, Swift could also be busy working on a new album. Her most recent one, The Tortured Poets Department, was also a bit of a surprise. Swift announced the release at the 2024 Grammy Awards, and maybe she plans on doing the same thing at the 2025 Grammys. There is no reason to rule that out.
Still, there is probably a good chance Swift watches Travis Kelce play the Raiders on Friday. Plus, the game is on Amazon Prime so the streaming service might be in contact with Swift's agent to see if the pop icon will show up. Millions of viewers are good for both Amazon and Swift.
Update: Taylor Swift did arrive to watch the Chiefs versus Raiders.
