The 2025 American Music Awards will be held on Monday, May 26, at 8 p.m. ET. You can stream the show on Paramount+ with Showtime, DirecTV, or fuboTV. With that bit of business out of the way, let's move on to what's more important: Will we see Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at the ceremony?
We know that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the pop queen are not seemingly busy currently. The Chiefs are currently in their offseason, and Kelce can choose to show up to organized team activities or not. He's been with the team so long, he will not learn anything new.
Swift is not touring, and while she might be working on a new album (or potentially re-recording one of her previous ones), she may have a little room to show up to the AMAs.
Are Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce going to appear at the 2025 American Music Awards?
After all, she has reorganized her merch website to include Apparel, Music, Accessories, and Sale. That, of course, spells out AMAs, and the AMAs are, of course, the American Music Awards. Possibly this is a coincidence, but that appears unlikely.
Swift is not expected to perform or present at the awards show, but is up for six awards. We do not know she will be on hand to accept any trophies should she win in one of her categories, but she might have another reason for showing up.
She could be teasing a major announcement because she has reorganized her website to spell AMAs, and as the American Music Awards are on Monday. That announcement could be Swift giving us the release date of Reputation (Taylor's Version). That is one of two albums she has left to re-record from her previous, and oppressive, record contract.
There is every reason to expect Swift and Kelce to show up at the AMAs, and Swift will drop the bombshell news about the release. That would certainly make tuning in worth it. You might need a subscription to do so.
