The worst possible wedding band just offered their services to Taylor Swift

Just say no.

Taylor Swift deserves better, and she will likely choose to have better, too. In fact, Travis Kelce deserves better as well. The couple recently announced their engagement, and while there is no date for a wedding, we do know there will be one.

For Swift and Kelce, let's hope it is as private as possible. We know the paparazzi will try to crash the event in hopes of getting a classic photo, one they can sell to media outlets for easy cash. Should that happen? No, but we know people will try.

Another entity that is trying is the 1970s band turned awful pop-rock band, Foreigner. While hopefully the group's social media post was only making a joke (while trying to draw attention to the band), Foreigner posted a special message to Swift and Kelce on X/Twitter.

Foreigner delivers Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce worst proposal ever

The post read, "Dear Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, We know what love is. We spent 40 years figuring it out...and now you guys have too. Please accept this as our formal offer to be your wedding band. Best wishes, Foreigner."

In a word: Gross. The message is as saccharine as the band's music became in the 1980s. It is like one of Foreigner's wretched rock ballads in social media form.

First of all, why does the band feel the need to tell Swift and Kelce how long they have been together? It's kind of like a teacher asking a kindergarten class a random question and one child raising their hand and saying, "I don't know the answer, but I've been here all year long."

The other part is the odd arrogance in the phrase that the band has "figured" out what love is. Have they? As a collective group? That's weird. Or does Foreigner mean their music only? If so, we can be pretty sure Taylor Swift figured out that kind of love long ago.

But again, hopefully Foreigner was only joke, and Swift and Kelce see the message as a joke. The same kind of funny that Foreigner turned into in the 1980s when they delivered drivel like "I Don't Want to Live Without You."
