The Rolling Stones amazing Hackney Diamonds limited edition vinyl link up

The new Hackney Diamonds album isn’t released until 20 October. You can listen to their single “Angry” which was released in September as part of an official launch for the new album. The video for the single, starring actress Sydney Sweeney, has had over 15 million views. So far it's been received very well.

That official launch followed an earlier teasing share of information suggesting the album release was on its way.  The band certainly had some fun with that teaser for the album. if you haven't heard the story of the Hackney Gazette glass repairs advert already, it's worth a read. 

This is the first new music from the band for some time. Almost 18 years in fact and of course it's their first album after drummer Charlie Watts passed away in August 2021. So you can excuse them and their marketing team if they are making a big fuss over it. Next up in the plan is this week's news of a fantastic Major League Baseball tie-in.

Rolling Stones MLB exclusive for Hackney Diamonds revealed

A very limited edition, white-colored, vinyl-only package of the Hackney Diamonds album is being made available. The package will have a baseball white pocket jacket for the disc and will come with custom art available for each of the 30 MLB clubs. Buyers can choose their favourite club to customise their disc packaging. If you are an MLB fan, have a look at the Rolling Stones shop to see how your club’s edition would look. 

This is bound to become a huge collector's item. It all makes you wonder what else the band and their promo squad will have to reveal by the time the album comes out in October. It's going to be a fun wait and a huge launch when it comes.
